Birthday Celebration Blog Hop

Hi! welcome to my stop on the Royal Kat Wednesday blog hop. It's QKD's birthday tomorrow. And I'm so excited to say Happy Birthday to QKD! They are turning 3 this year, it's a big mile stone for Vicki and the company. I made a special Thinking of you card just for the special occasion. I used the official QKD colors: Pink, purple, silver (grey) and white. And of course I added some bling! Gotta love those bottles of glitter glue. For the purple paper, I used a sheet of pre-embossed cardstock that I had laying around. It's so pretty, I bought a whole pack of 25 sheets of 1 color and I'm not a purple person!

Adornit Blog Hop

Hi everyone! Welcome to my 2nd blog hop this week. I just love these things. It's fun to see all of the different creations that people make. And I'm super excited that Georgana invited me again.

For this card, I used a new embossing folder that Vicki picked up a couple weeks ago. It's so pretty with all the different ornaments on it. I think she even blogged a card with it. you'll have to check it out.

I used the new Fancy Christmas stamp set from QKD for the tree and I embossed it with some gold tinsel embossing powder. It is so festive I couldn't resits adding bling. I wanted to add a sentiment to the outside of the card but I didn't want to cover up the pretty embossing on the red. :)

I had fun with the sketch that we were challenged with. I used the new "Chester the gnome" stamp set. This little guy is so precious I can see him riding his mouse all around the forrest bottom.

Happy November!

Hi. And welcome to my stop on the QKD release day blog hop. I'm honored to be on the list of stops today. The new release stamps this month top any month previous to this. If you've missed any of the hop, please visit the QKD blog to start it over there's a lot that you need to catch. :)

Today I get to release "Ned" the Christmas Tree Gnome. This stamp is drawn by Jonathan, he's a local artist here in my area and he's got some fun stamps coming out and that have already come out. Here's my creation for the day...

Isn't this stamp the best??? I'm very happy with how my card turned out once I found the right color paint for his beard. I accidentally used some clear with glitter thinking it was white.. Then after it dried I added the white pearl to it to try to cover my flub. It looks neat with the 2 I must say. It adds dimension. Queen Kat and I share our studio and that includes the nesties stash. hehe.. She buys most of them then I use them. :) shhhh...

I used the inverted scalloped squares for this card and I think it's just perfect for it. Paired with the plaid paper and the buttons with the tag and sentiment.. What else says Christmas is coming?

For this card, i used a tag that I cut with my Sizzix die from back in the day. I used some tim Holtz distress ink and masks to add color. I stamped the Script Background from QKD over it.

The patterned paper I used for the card base is from the November Royal Kit. I added some flowers, skeleton leaves and ribbon.

Royal Kat Wednesday

Welcome once again to Royal Kat Wednesday at my blog. I'm happy you could make it. If you haven't seen the whole hop, please jump back to the QKD blog and start over.

Today I have a fun Halloween card to share. I used some stamps from the Fright Night stamp set and the October Royal Kit. That spider in the kit is too cute. I stamped him and then cut out his shoes in purple cardstock. I random stamped the candy corn on the orange and added orange stickles for sparkle along with adding white with my white souffle' pen.
